 Our one year anniversary update

We've just completed our first year running this site, and we thank all of you who have supported us during this time. We had originally planned on serving the entire U.S. -- tying together the top clubs from each state. However, based on the recent deluge of "me too" lifestyle sites, plus feedback we've received from members, we've decided that our niche is the Midwest -- mostly in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa. We also hope to boost membership in states like Illinois, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Our original one-year goal was to have 5,000 members nationally. Instead, we now have 912 members and almost all are within a four state area, and mostly concentrated around cities like Kansas City, St. Louis, Omaha and Des Moines. The total number is lower, but the geographic concentration is much higher. Ultimately, this higher concentration is better for our members and is one of the reasons why we've heard people say that they've actually met more people on our site compared to the large national sites.

But we don't want to stop there. Our goal is to double the number of members within the next year. We would also like to team up with another lifestyle club or organization next year and offer travel opportunities. We'll keep you updated about this.

What can you do to help? Tell others about the Lifestyle Clubhouse. Let's work together to build the largest lifestyle community in the Midwest.

 Video chat is finally here!

Attention all exhibitionists: You voted for it and we delivered. We've just finished installing and integrating a video/audio/text chat service into our site. Both the chat room and the private instant messaging service in the chat room has video capabilities.

The challenge with a smaller site like ours is getting people together at the same time, so here's a few tips to help you communicate with others:

First, we know that most of our traffic on our original text chat happened on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after 9:00 p.m., so we expect the same with video chat. Second, if you get in a room and no one is there, please stay in the room. People will often miss each other by just minutes. Third, don't be offended if you're in a chat room with someone and they don't respond. A member may be away from the computer and not know you're there (we've been told that the next software upgrade will have sounds to let people know if members are entering or exiting a room).

Finally, you might want to post in the forum that you'll be in a the chat room on a certain day and time. If enough people do this we might make a special area in the forum just to announce chat times.

 Special welcome to our newest affiliate club

We'd like to take a moment to welcome KC Crystal Party to our site. This swingers club was started by a great couple who wanted to fill the gap after Club Eden of Kansas City was forced into hiatus. They've done a wonderful job and are attracting some very sexy couples to their parties. Don't miss their "Elegance" New Year's Eve BASH. Information is available on the Lifestyle Clubhouse site.

KC Crystal party has also agreed to be a Premiere Affiliate. That means you can get your Lifestyle Clubhouse membership verified at their parties.

If you are going to a club event, you can let others know you're going by putting yourself on the attendance list. It's easy to do. Just go to the event page and select the link that says "Are you going? Click here to add yourself to the list."
